The Fuel-Easy system aviation fuel tank is a collapsible external fuel container specifically designed for safe and cost-efficient helicopter transport to and from remote sites and provide temporary storage sites. The Fuel-Easy aviation fuel tank  has an innovative external-framed, fabric fuel container design takes much of the risk out of fuel hauling for helicopter operators and those on the ground.

 

The Fuel-Easy aviation fuel tank is a top-filling and bottom-emptying (with standard camlock fittings) bladder made of pliable, puncture resistant material. The collapsible bladder allows no dangerous vapour space or potential moisture condensation and eliminates the necessity of the hazards of fuel transfer from to fuel metal drums. With easy setup in five minutes, it is ideal for resupply operations for wild land firefighting or remote work sites. It is easy to use and durable and when empty fits in two, light carry bags.

 

A helicopter tethered cargo load that changes its shape during flight can be dangerous and can require serious operator control problems forcing reduced flight speeds. The Fuel-Easy aviation fuel tank flies safely and holds no surprises in flight. Unlike a fuel drums package, the Fuel-Easy's bladder rests within a rigid frame that guarantees a symmetrical configuration in the air without spinning on the hook. Moreover, since the bladder collapses with partial loads, it still maintains the aerodynamic drag necessary for stable flight. The Fuel-Easy's lightweight, aerodynamic design allows transport Fuel-Easy aviation fuel tank at maximum cruise speed and provides higher capacity and fuel savings compared to using heavy drums.

 

Fuel-Easy models range from small to the large. The Model Fe-150 has a 150 IMPG (180 USG, 680 LITERS) capacity and weighs 1368 LBS (620 KG) full whereas the FE-1050 holds 1050 IMPG (1260 USG, 4775 LITRES) at 9286 LBS (4212 KG).
