Self-preservation - This is the most critical and basic technique that is possessed by a firefighter. They use this skill to locate themselves and to prevent hazards. Rescue - This operation involves searching and removing individuals who have been trapped because of hazardous conditions. This also includes rescue operations which are induced by hazardous materials or they also call as dangerous goods.
